Corgi Vanguards Peugeot 205 1.1 Look - Topaze Blue (1/43)

Announced in January 1983, the 205 range was available in a specification to suit all pockets and styles and transformed Peugeot's fortunes. Over its sixteen-year production life more than 5.2-million 205s were produced and both its styling and mechanical configuration set the template for a large and successful range of cars. Its charming looks were the key to success but it was also an extremely appealing all round package, being both economical, especially in its diesel guise, and great fun to drive.

The smaller engined models sold to youthful female buyers and the 'the LOOK for summer' special edition modelled here was aimed squarely at that demographic.
