In the days when it was one Nationalised Railway system, British Rail offered a parcel delivery service to your door from their nearest station, and used small vans such as the Anglia 105E based van modelled here.  The 105E car was launched in 1959 with the van versions following in 1961, available as 5cwt or 7cwt models, the later having chromed headlight peaks and bumpers whilst the 5’s were painted.  Both had 61 cu.ft. load areas and were available in primer for £369 or £399; top coat paint in one of 8 basic colours was £10 extra.
