Part No: CC82274
On the 4th October 2000, the 5,387,862nd (total international production) and last original Mini was driven off the production line at the Longbridge Plant in Birmingham by 60s icon Lulu to the strains of The Italian Job theme song ‘Self-preservation Society’, the film forever associated with the ingeniously designed and internationally renowned car. The Mini had been assembled at Longbridge since the start of production in 1959 when a proud owner would expect to pay less than £500. The remaining few hundred Mini Cooper Sports built in 2000 cost around £8,500! X411 JOP is now on display at the Motor Heritage Museum, Gaydon, has a 1275cc engine with a 5 speed gearbox and is a fine addition to Corgi Mini 50th Anniversary celebrations.
